The Company ranked 9th among pharmaceutical companies
São Paulo, August 2017 - In a ceremony held on Monday night, on the 7th, in the São Paulo Room, in São Paulo, Exame magazine brought together the country's top executives for the 44th edition of its Best and Greatest Awards. The event honored the companies that stood out best in 20 sectors of the economy in 2016, in addition to the best one in the agribusiness and the best Company of the Year.
Among the 500 largest sales companies in the country, Eurofarma ranked 278th, climbing 21 position compared to the previous year. The company ranked in the 200 largest groups and reached the 153rd position, also rising 21 positions in relation to the previous edition. To reach the result, balance sheets of three thousand companies and 80,000 financial indicators were carefully checked and analyzed.
The work was done in partnership with FIPECAFI - Foundation for Accounting, Actuarial and Financial Research, attached to the Faculty of Economics, Administration and Accounting (FEA) of the University of São Paulo.
Roche was considered the best one in the pharmaceutical sector, according to the Best and Greatest Guide, considering all sectors, whereas Raia Drogasil was considered the Company of the Year.
